UnlikeEuropeancountrieswherefourormoreweeksofholidayeachyearisnormal27percentofpeoplequestionedinthepollsaidtheyhad6to10daysofannualleaveand20percenthadlessthan3days.WithmorepeopleonunemploymentlistsinAmerica,thosestillwithjobsarefacingmoreresponsibilityatwork,whichisreflectedintheirlackoftimeoff.
Themajorityofworkerswhodidnottaketimeoffmentionedtoomanyresponsibilitiesorstressatwork,whilesomepeoplesaidtheysimplydidnothavetimetoplanaholiday.“Peoplearemoreconsciousofwhattheyaredoingandwhentheyaregoingonvacationbecausetheydon’twanttolookbadinthissituation,”Nahmiasexplained.
